All countries within these belts, including India and Pakistan are of most concern and have a very high potential for natural disasters and political disturbances and instability to occur.

They are actually, a safe haven from war and disaster. An example of this is Russia, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, France, the Netherlands, and the Scandanavian countries which are outside the belt and are not likely to participate in a war.
